GNS TO ENJOY CBT MODE OF EXAMINATION IN LASU

Once Again another Milestone have been Achieved during the The era of the 27th Lasusu Executives.
The University Management has finally yielded to the GNS request for a CBT mode of examination.

The Computer Based Test is the latest version of Examination Technology especially in large class courses in Universities. It will effectively reduce the rate of  examination malpractice to the barest minimum as each student will face his/her Computer within a  specified time frame.
The method will also effectively take away the burden of large script marking.
We therefore salute the courage of the University Management for this bold step and we equally congratulate the GNS Team for being apt towards innovations.  WE ARE LASU, WE ARE PROUD!

LASU first class student wins Don Etiebet’s prize for Computer Science

Sola Olabanjo, a first class student of the Lagos State University (LASU), has won the Best Bachelor of Science, Computer Science Students’ Projects Award for Tertiary Institutions in Lagos State. Olabanjo was of the Computer Science Department in the institution. Prof. Benjamin Aribisala, Head, Computer Science Department of LASU, made the disclosure to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos. He said that the award was sponsored by a former Minister of Petroleum, Chief Don Etiebet. Aribisala said the contestants were tested on the project, “Design and Implementation of Administrative E-memo for Tertiary Institutions -A case study of Lagos State University’’. He said that Olabanjo’s final year project was the only one among others submitted by the department for the award. LASU To Host Second Carnival Tagged LASU Carnival 2016 ‘’The Tradition’’

Lagos state university (LASU) has passed the bill to law for the hosting of its second unified carnival tagged ‘’LASU CARNIVAL 2016 ‘’the tradition’’ in a report released by the  Student Union president,  Comrade Sekoni Tayo, the carnival would be hosted to intergrate  all students and staff of the University as the management body look to host one of their events that carries every fraction of the institution including the primary and secondary schools.
