LASU to commence Hostel building project with capacity of over 6000 students

Having assented the bill to make Lagos State university a residential in the early beginning of this year, plans to to start executing this project have begin, Prof. Adigun Fagbohun, Vice - chancellor  disclosed this.
He talks about the relevance of hostel in educational institutions.He said, " it brings about bonding among the students" and also ensure proper management of the students.

Emphasis is laid on the fact that the hostel will be made available at an affordable and reasonable fee. The hostel is estimated to accommodate 6000 students.
According to him, the project will be taken care of by the school and not the government as the govt have so much in hand to deal with.

A level 14 senior LASTMA Officer , Surajudeen Bakare was on official duty when he was murdered by some mobs (Okada riders and tanker driver) in Apapa,Lagos State. The Lagos state government have condemned the killing of the officer and have launched manhunt to bring those miscreants and perpetrators of this inhumane acts to book. Sources had it that the statement of the Lagos state government on the renewed traffic law binding motorists on plying the 475 restricted areas in Lagos state so as to ease traffic across the state has been in enforcement since it was pronounced.
