Management of NYSC has officially confirmed the postponement of the orientation date of Batch A 2016 stream 2 corps members.

From yesterday evening many PCMs bombarded social media pages about the SMS they are getting. We however a remain calm as we wait for official statement by NYSC.

The SMS reads

"Please we regret to inform you that the 2016 Batch A Stream 2 in all states including those posted to Adamawa, Borno and Yobe in Stream 1 for orientation course has been postponed due to logistic reasons. A new date will be communicated to you in due course. Please accept our sincere apologies. NYSC Management"

This morning, the oficial NYSC website also have the same message. (PIC)

The NYSC management didnt put any reason but this might be as result of ongoing NLC strike.
We will advice the intending corps members to stay put for now as we will bring you latest stories as events unfolds and bring to you the new date when its announced by NYSC.

A level 14 senior LASTMA Officer , Surajudeen Bakare was on official duty when he was murdered by some mobs (Okada riders and tanker driver) in Apapa,Lagos State. The Lagos state government have condemned the killing of the officer and have launched manhunt to bring those miscreants and perpetrators of this inhumane acts to book. Sources had it that the statement of the Lagos state government on the renewed traffic law binding motorists on plying the 475 restricted areas in Lagos state so as to ease traffic across the state has been in enforcement since it was pronounced.
