Poem: THOUGHTLESS SHUTTERBUGS

On the cloud nine zone,
A feeling of greatness,
In a ravishing mode,
With sounds of astonishing tone,
Merriment and celebration
At its zenith in their abode.

Youth and thoughtless adults in the zone
Finds it arduous to mute
Every sonorous tone
Of theirs.
Social medias have been congested
With multitudes of images
Of life filled with exhilaration,
Extravagant lifestyles
Ranging from expensive
Clothing, gadgets to expensive fleet of cars
And high-end sumptuous meals.

They are mindless of those
That are dying to have
A meager happiness and lifestyle
They flaunt.
They are thoughtless of those that feel
Down and worthless for not having
What they show-off.


They are thoughtless of the evil eye
As they ease their work of
Perpetrating evil with
Every of their vital information
They divulge.

It is amusing,
How some people
Could go extra mile to take
Pictures of themselves
Faking to live an
Extravagant and flashy lifestyle
Whereas, in reality
They live in penury.
Who are you deceiving?
Did you know those
Prospective Benefactor
That you ward away
With your beautiful-nonsense?
I wondered if you have not
Confused the Angel that share goodness. ***Mind what you post on public platforms

Killing of Senior LASTMA Official ; Lagos State government Launches Manhunt for perpetrators

A level 14 senior LASTMA Officer , Surajudeen Bakare was on official duty when he was murdered by some mobs (Okada riders and tanker driver) in Apapa,Lagos State. The Lagos state government have condemned the killing of the officer and have launched manhunt to bring those miscreants and perpetrators of this inhumane acts to book. Sources had it that the statement of the Lagos state government on the renewed traffic law binding motorists on plying the 475 restricted areas in Lagos state so as to ease traffic across the state has been in enforcement since it was pronounced.
