#Headies2016: Nigerians flood Twitter about their views on how trashy the event went

This year's award shows is full of criticisms from audience as they let out  their grievances on Twitter and other social media platforms about the glitches and poor organization of the event.
The downturn might be owing to the economic situation of the country. Another issue which is vexing Nigerians especially those that bought ticket is the absenteeism of award winners.

Some online users are making fun of the award show calling it all sort of names: end of year party, high school prom, Throwback show, secondary school social day. Some even says maybe the organizers might have invested in the popular ponzi scheme, MMM.

A level 14 senior LASTMA Officer , Surajudeen Bakare was on official duty when he was murdered by some mobs (Okada riders and tanker driver) in Apapa,Lagos State. The Lagos state government have condemned the killing of the officer and have launched manhunt to bring those miscreants and perpetrators of this inhumane acts to book. Sources had it that the statement of the Lagos state government on the renewed traffic law binding motorists on plying the 475 restricted areas in Lagos state so as to ease traffic across the state has been in enforcement since it was pronounced.
