LASU To Host Second Carnival Tagged LASU Carnival 2016 ‘’The Tradition’’

Lagos state university (LASU) has passed the bill to law for the hosting of its second unified carnival tagged ‘’LASU CARNIVAL 2016 ‘’the tradition’’ in a report released by the  Student Union president,  Comrade Sekoni Tayo, the carnival would be hosted to intergrate  all students and staff of the University as the management body look to host one of their events that carries every fraction of the institution including the primary and secondary schools.
The bid to host and partner with LASUSU was won by SWAY CONCEPTS. 
The event boast of involvement of every student, department, faculty, staff and peer group and is also an adaptation of the prestigious LAGOS CARNIVAL
With large partnerships and involvement of artists,  entrepreneurs, tourists and philantrophists, the event tends to be the biggest campus event of the year.

A level 14 senior LASTMA Officer , Surajudeen Bakare was on official duty when he was murdered by some mobs (Okada riders and tanker driver) in Apapa,Lagos State. The Lagos state government have condemned the killing of the officer and have launched manhunt to bring those miscreants and perpetrators of this inhumane acts to book. Sources had it that the statement of the Lagos state government on the renewed traffic law binding motorists on plying the 475 restricted areas in Lagos state so as to ease traffic across the state has been in enforcement since it was pronounced.
