Payments and registration guidelines for new students in Lagos State University

All successful admitted freshmen in the 2015/2016 Academic Session are required to pay the following fees: A NON-REFUNDABLE ACCEPTANCE FEE of N10,000 (from Thursday 26th November, 2015 to Friday 4th December, 2015) Change of Course Fee of N2,500 (for candidates admitted for courses other than what they registered for in JAMB) Indigeneship Verification Fee of N5,000 (for Lagos State Indigenes ONLY) Note that evidence of online payments of all the stated fees (where applicable) are among the documents to be presented during the 2015/2016 Central Screening exercise. LASU Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure. Visit LASU E-Payment portal: lasu.edu.ng/epayment While on the LASU E-Payment page, you are required to enter your UTME Registration Number in the Column marked with Matric Number/PaymentID/Application Number. Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari has finally inaugurated the new ministers of the country. APPOINTMENT OF AN ACTING VICE-CHANCELLOR IN LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY

  The Lagos State Government has appointed Prof. Fidelis Njokanma as the acting Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University, Ojo. The Deputy Governor of the state, Dr. Oluranti Adebule, made this knaown in a letter to the Registrar of the university, Mr. Lewis Akinwunmi. Njokanma, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), takes over from Prof. John Obafunwa, whose tenure ended last October 31. Njokanma, a professor of Medicine, would act as the helmsman of the institution pending the appointment of a substantive vice-chancellor. The governing council of the university, led by Prof. Adebayo Ninalowo, a professor of Sociology at the University of Lagos, recommended his appointment.
